Only one American fork runner finished in the top nine runners, as Springville completely dominated the affair. Myron Eskeets again was the individual winner, improving his home course record to a time of 15:03. Bean of A.F. was next, then Randy Smith, John Mendenhall, Dave Walker, Kelly Clark, Al Cameron, and Clinton Boyer completed the Devil sweep. Coach Dale Macomber thinks the Devils are in a fine position to challenge for the Region Six title, and they will meet the toughest test by far today, when they go against 3-A State favorite Timpview in a dual match. The race will be held on the Devils' Memorial park course, and should be an excellent preview of two teams that may fight it out for the Region crown. The match will begin at 4 o'clock.
