Show LARK NEWS Diane Reed, Phone 908-J1 LARK P-TA DATES FINAL MEETING FOR APRIL 30 Final meeting of the Lark Elementary Ele-mentary School P-TA for the current school year has been set for next Monday night, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the school, it was announced. Officers recently reelected to office will be installed during the program. Committee chairmen chair-men will give reports, and numbers num-bers will be given by Lowell Hicks' grade school band. The annual "farewell program" will be presented by the sixth grade. Officers to be installed are: Mrs. Boyd Stevens, president; Mrs. Joseph Tibolla, vice president, presi-dent, and Mrs. Robert Foist, secretary sec-retary and treasurer. The public is invited. Second Lt. and Mrs. Ned Miller Mill-er and daughter, Vickie Lynn, left last Thursday to make their new home at Blytheville, Ark. Lt. Miller, stationed the past year at' Hill AFB, Ogden, with Ihn 411 et RnmlvirrimAnt Win?. . has been transferred to the Wings home base at Blytheville AFB. The entire 461st Bombardment Wing has been transferred to the Arkansas base. Prior to their departure, de-parture, Mr. and Mrs. Zane Du-mont Du-mont and family entertained at a family dinner in their honor. Besides the honored guests and host and hostess and family those present were Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Wilson and son Jimmy of Copperton, Cop-perton, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard L. Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Du-mont. Du-mont. Lark Ward Mutual held their beehive building and rose tying ceremonies Tuesday evening, April 24. Both groups had 100 per cent eligibles for the ceremony cere-mony and participating. Beehive girls participating were Dixie Reed, Lorraine Rostrun, Sonja Reed, Mary Ann Lindsay, Marilyn Mar-ilyn Holladay, Virginia Nielsen, Joyce Peterson, Billie Lee Morgan, Mor-gan, Polly Abplanalp and Sue Ellen Rasmussen. MiaMaid girls taking part were Lois Fahrni, Sheila Rasmussen, Jackie and Pat Dalley, Nancy Nealiy, Judy Oliver, Nel&a Robinson, Marsha Walker, Kay Peterson and Ileen Robinson. Light refreshments were served. Mrs. Clyde Gillam, Mrs. Dick Rubright, Mrs. Floyd Reed, Mrs. Boyd Stevens and Mrs. Zane Du-mont Du-mont attended the annual state P-TA convention held in Salt Lake City Wednesday and Thurs day. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Reed and family were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rindiesbach of Riverton. The monthly bingo party was held Wednesday, April 18th. A lovely time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Peterson left Monday, April 23, for St. George. Mrs. Peterson will return re-turn about May 1st. Primary preparation meeting was held Wednesday, April 25th in Lark Ward chapel. Sister Lil-lis Lil-lis Sandstrom gave a very interesting inter-esting lesson. |
