Stewart Go To Model United Nations Bingham High School sent six di legates to the model United Nations delegations conference Saturday, April 21 in Salt Lake City. It was held in Kingsbury Hall at the U. of U. The students were: Jackie Dahlstrom, head delegate; Ruby Mae Serassio, Dorothy Slotte, Adriano Martinez, Mar-tinez, Priscilla Ortega, and Jo-.Ann Jo-.Ann Murano, press representative. representa-tive. The group represented Cuba. Charles A. Williams was the advisor. Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, former United States representative representa-tive to the U.N., present chairman chair-man of the board of governors of the American Assn. for the U.N. and one of America's most prominent women, addressed the ; conference. Commercial Contests Twenty-one students, representing repre-senting the typing, shorthand and bookkeeping classes, attended attend-ed the annual contests at LDS Business College, Saturday, April 21. Music festival Members of the senior high band and the choir participated in the Region Two music festival held at North Summit high in Coalville Thursday and Friday, April 26 and 27. Miners Win Again The Miners baseball team won their fourth straight victory Wed nesday as they defeated Judge Memorial 3 to 2. Susaeta did the pitching and Lovat the catching. Picture Show The senior high band presented present-ed a picture snow Wednesday. The show was "Drums Along the Mohawk" starring Henry Fonda and Claudette Colbert. It was thoroughly enjoyed 'by all. ANNUAL DANCE REVUE WELL RECEIVED The annual dance revue given by the BHS modern dance class in the high school auditorium last Friday night was well attended and enjoyed by all seeing it. A very interesting array of dances very interesting array of dances including ballet, modern dance, character and social dancing was given. Besides solos, there were trios, duets and the first year students group dances. A highlight high-light and interesting feature of the program was participation of eleven boys from the senior high and a group of junior high girls.
