Show The Park Record C-4 Wed/Thurs/Frl, May 4-6,2005 Sweet Honey delivers sweet show Sweet Honey in the Rock brought its own brand of African American a cappella to the Eccles Center this past Sunday. The six-member group sang two sets with songs varying in style from blues, to gospel and traditional African music. The concert offered a positive, uplifting performance and a pronounced display of vocal talent and range. Before the concert, the Park City Performing Arts Foundation showed Sweet Honey in the Rock: Raise Your Voice," a documentary about the group's thirtieth year. Aimee Brobuek, a folk-rock singer-songwriter who hails from Austin, said she found the festival mostly by luck. "1 actually saw it in the Austin Chronicle," she said.
