The man appeared in court Tuesday to face one count of lewdness, a class A misdemeanor. A 10-year-old boy reportedly told his mother that Howard flashed him from the back of a pickup truck in Coalville on Jan. 19. "[A deputy] talked to the defendant about what had happened on his way home. [Howard] said that he had mooned or exposed his buttocks to his friend, Abe," states court information filed by Summit County Chief Prosecuting Attorney David Brickey. "[Howard] said that there might have been some kids walking on the sidewalk." Calls received last week by Summit County Sheriff's Office dispatchers include: deputies were investigating a motorist for driving under the influence on Feb. 20 at 1:12 a.m. Several vehicles parked on the street were towed Feb. 20 to make room for snow removal. A motorist became high centered after striking a road barrier in westem Summit County on Feb. 20. No injuries were reported when a snowplow reportedly backed into a pickup on Feb. 2 at 9:37 a.m. Another traffic accident involving two cars was repprted at 10:14 a.m. Two bicycles were recovered from a Dumpster on Landmark Drive at Kimball Junction on Feb. 20 at 1:32 p.m. A fire reportedly ignited in the engine compartment of a pickup truck on Feb. 20 at 2:19 p.m. A motorist was reportedly arrested for driving under the influence on Feb. 21 at 2:09 a.m. On Feb. 21, garbage was reportedly thrown out the window of a while Acura on S.R. 224. Tools were stolen when a condominium was reportedly burglarized at Powderwood on Feb. 21. Two men dressed in black reportedly stole groceries from Wild Oats at Redstone Towne Center and fled in a green Chevrolet Lumina on Feb. 21 at 4:23 p.m. A man with a gun may have still been robbing a cosmetics store at Tanger Outlet Center when a clerk called 911 on Feb. 21. Deputies are still searching for a blue-eyed sus- pect, of average height and weight who was wearing a mask and gray hooded sweatshirt during the crime. A Kimball Junction man's car was reportedly egged in western Summit County on Feb. 22 at 1 a.m. The sheriffs office received a complaint about dump trucks speeding along Silver Surrimil Parkway near Trailside on Feb. 22. Two suspected shoplifters, driving a small, blue Ford pickup truck were reported to the sheriff's office from a store at Tanger Outlet Center on Feb. .22 at 11:02 p.m. A hit-and-run traffic accident that occurred at Utah Olympic Park in the Snyderville Basin was reported on Feb. 22. On Feb. 22, an automobile was reportedly burglarized while it was parked at Wal-Mart at Kimball Junction. Children in Elk Meadows near Kilby Road were repeatedly throwing snowballs at cars last week. A domestic dispute was reported to the sheriff's office from South Summit on Feb. 22 at 7:52 p.m. Deputies received a complaint about motorists speeding in Wild Willow near Francis on Feb. 23. A 15-year-old girl reportedly survived an overdose of pills in western Summit County on Feb. 24.
