Show r University of Utah - College of Fine Arts Virginia Tanner Creative Dance Program Fall Session: August 30 - December 18, 2004 Spring Session: January 10 - May 7, 2005 ACTIVITIES ARTS KIDS Arts-Kids is a 5Ol(c)3 non-profit organization working in conjunction with all three Summit County school districts to connect youth through creativity. Groups are limited to 17 children at each elementary school, and run once a week for ten weeks in the fall and spring. Participants are exposed to a variety of artists and artistic mediums while gaining communication skills, motivation, and resiliency for future success. The After School and Kindergarten Enrichment (reading skill emphasis) programs each have a Teacher: Student ratio of 1:15 and operate during the entire school year, including most days when public schools are closed.
