Show New teachers at SDJH year of classroom instruction after serving as a student teacher at South Davis Junior High last spring. A graduate of Weber State University in 1990, she teaches Spanish survey, seventh grade reading and eighth grade English. She enjoys traveling abroad, reading, writing and being in the outdoors. Susan Forsberg graduated from Brigham Young University, where she majored in mathematics. She has tutored math for several years and now teaches math in the classroom. Susan has worked as a computer programmer, and her hobbies include in-clude hiking, camping, jogging, cooking and reading. Cassia Sprague is in her first year of teaching. She lives in Salt Lake City after moving to Utah in 1974. She teaches Utah studies, seventh grade math and elementary algebra. Judy Upton has worked in the Davis School District for 13 years. She is former director of the Pioneer Adult Rehabilitation Center vocational program for special needs individuals. She grew up in South Davis County and attended South Davis Junior High. A graduate of the University of Utah with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and sociology, she is finishing her master's degree in special education with emphasis on supported employment and severe disabilities. Sue new teachers have been added add-ed to the faculty of South Davis Junior Ju-nior High School for the 1990-91 school year, according to Dr. Dale Rees, principal. He said the list of new teachers ranges from teachers in their first year of classroom instruction to one teacher who has been employed by the Davis School District for 13 years. Darin Christensen, the only new male teacher, is a native of Soda Springs, Idaho, but is now living in Magna. He is married and he and his wife, Annie, have one child. A graduate of Idaho State University Uni-versity in Pocatello with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and a master's degree in education, he is in his sixth year of teaching special education, the last five years in high school. He enjoys backpacking and auto mechanics. 4 Rose Eddleman is a transfer teacher from Millcreek Junior High, where she taught for the past two years. A native of Alaska, she graduated from the University of Utah in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a minor in sociology. She teaches eighth and ninth grade math classes. She has three children attending Orchard Elementary Elemen-tary School, Bountiful. Her hobbies include playing the violin, camping, fishing and reading. Sheryl Lundwall is in her first |
