The new product which is has been tested by injecting it into patients, has built up their muscles, and restored their physique, stopping stopp-ing the visible consequences of the march of time. Twelve men took the shots and claim to look and feel stronger. Doctors reported that the signs of aging were reversed. The patients appeared to be 10 to 20 years younger. In addition, their muscle tissue had increased by nine percent, per-cent, their fat tissue decreased by 14 percent and their skin was seven percent thicker. In most people the secretion of human growth hormone slows at age 30 and stops at age 60, therefore the added human growth hormone is important in those over 60. The treatment is very expensive. The dosage is determined by the weight of the patient. The cost to treat one 155 pound man with the required three injection per week would be $13,800 per year. According to senior citizen Erma High the best time of life is "What I am right now. I don't have any responsibilities. I have more leisure time, and I enjoy it. I've liked lik-ed every age," she said. "I think 35 is the ideal age," said Judy Barney. "You feel young, and your body doesn't hurt. You don't feel the signs of old age yet, and you don't have to have the treatment, if I were to have the treatment it would be when I was 60. That's when the wrinkles of old age will appear," she said. |
