The main emphasis of the electronic shop at that time was servicing audio-visual equipment in schools and library systems. Owner and manager, Bruce Cowley, stated, "We leased our first store in the south end of the Orchard Bowl building." The operation was later moved to 2022 S. Main, where it serviced the residents of Davis County through 1985. Continuing its growth, the operation opera-tion moved into an older home at its current location. The services performed by the company have grown to include the servicing of audio-visual equipment, equip-ment, television and stereo equipment, equip-ment, sound equipment and satellite and television systems. B & C Electronics is presently focusing its emphasis on servicing and selling satellite systems as well as installing home and commercial television systems. Five western states have benefited from the expertise of B & C Electronics. "We have installed systems in five Western states, including in-cluding Alaska," explained Cowley. Noted projects designed and installed in-stalled by the electronics company arc the main television distribution system for the Sands Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nev. and in five 1 army barracks in Fort Wainwright, 1 Alaska. Cowley explained that television and satellite communications are going to become an increasing part B & C Electronics services and sells satellite systems, as well as installing home and commercial television systems. Owner Bruce Cowley is excited about the growth of the company. What began as a parttime business has grown to include servicing of audio-visual, television and stereo and sound equipment. |
