Show Wood to speak to BACC Senior Research Analyst James A. Wood of the Bureau Bu-reau of Economic and Business Research in the University Uni-versity of Utah School of Business will be the guest speaker at the monthly membership meeting of the Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will be held in the Pine Room of the Servus Drug, 55 N. Main, Bountiful on Wednesday, May 20 at 12 noon. The public is invited to attend. Wood has more than 17 years of experience in conducting con-ducting studies of Utah industries and the economic development potential of Utah. He was a legislative aide to Sen. Frank Moss in Washington, D.C. prior to joining the staff of the University of Utah. He also worked as an accountant for Jacobsen Construction and I the Utah Idaho Sugar Company. I The author of more than 50 studies on the economic I issues and opportunities facing Utah, Woods is an ex- I pert on real estate and construction activity in Utah and on the site selection factors influencing business loca- I tion in Utah. His more recent publication reviews the K growth of the manufacturing industry in the Rocky 1 Mountain states, and Utah's adjustment to declining I defense budgets.
