Strike Force officer Dave Nance reported the results of his unit's efforts to the Bountiful City Council Coun-cil recently during the annual presentation pre-sentation from the Police Department. Confiscated LSD was worth $3,430, $300 in meth, $250 in heroin, $116 in crack and $50 in morphine. Some $6,420 of the seized drugs was made up of other combinations. "LSD use is on the increase in Davis County in the junior high and high school levels," Nance said. ' We are also finding more weapons on suspects. They are not worried about the police, but of other drug pushers and dealers ripping ripp-ing them off." In 1990 there were 248 arrested, 294 in 1989, 154 in 1988, 107 in 1987 and 107 in 1986. Cases reached the high point in 1989 with 637, there were 502 in 1991, 518 in 1990, with 469 in 1988, 425 in 1987, and 402 in 1986.
