KAYSVILLE - Velma Joy Nor-strom Nor-strom Stephenson, 87, of 218 S. 400 E., died Friday, Dec. 30, 1988, at a Bountiful nursing home of causes incident to age. She was born OcOl, 1901, in Fairview, a daughter of Pete Laran and Annette Sophia Tucker Nor-strom. Nor-strom. She married Ven Dean Stephenson Stephen-son May 31, 1924 in Soda Springs, Ida. Their marriage was later ! solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 7,1962; She was reared in Fairview, Utah and Soda Springs, Ida. She lived in the Soda SpringsLava Hot Springs area for 27 years. She had lived in Kaysville since 1942. She graduated from high school in Soda Springs, Ida. and attended Idaho State College and Albion State Teachers College. She taught school in Soda Springs and had also worked at Hill a Air Force Base. She was a member of the LDS . Church and sang in the choir. , She -. was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, the American Legion Auxiliary and had been PTA president at Kaysville Elementary. She enjoyed nature, music and. literature. " ' Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Larry D. Stephenson, Fremont, Calif.; Paul A.
