Jackson, South Carolina for his Army Reserve basic ba-sic training and ATT, from which he has recently returned. Hokanson has been called to serve in the japan Okayama Mission. He will enter the MTCinProvoJan. 18. He is the son of Don C. and Peggy Pe-ggy Gardner Hokanson. His farewell was held Sunday, Jan. 15 in the Bountiful 34th Ward. Russ is a graduate of Viewmont where he was president of the National Honor Society. He lettered academically, was an academic all-stale all-stale and lettered in cross country. He was a Sterling Scholar in math. He.has been attending the University Universi-ty of Utah on an honors at entrance scholarship, and is majoring in chemistry. : ELDER BEARNSON Elder Jeffrey" Darrell Bearnson, son of Darrell and Peggy Bearnson, has been called to serve in the Japan Sapporo Mission.
