He is happy to be back in Center-ville Center-ville and hopes to greet hew and old customers soon, in his new pharmacy at Dick's Market, Jacobs returns to Dick's Pharmacy the Medical Center Pharmacy in the South Davis Medical Center for 16 years. Until recently he owned the - Towne Pharmacy in Kaysville. Now he is looking forward to once j again serving the people of the Bountiful-Centerville area. The new pharmacy will give customers 5 the convenience of shopping while : their prescriptions are being filled. t : The pharmacy will have the most : up-to-date computer system. It will check for allergies and cross reac- : tions with drugs. It will keep track : of customer purchases, provide tax information, and provide billing for insurance companies. Most insur- ance companies will be accepted. j Some surgical supplies and sick- i room needs will be sold at the : pharmacy, as well as other pharma- : cy-related items. The v pharmacy win be open, from 9-7 weekdays, 9-5 Saturdays and closed Sundays and hnliriavs Lamont Jacobs is the new owner of Dick's Pharmacy located in Dick's Market in Centerville. Lamont is a long-time resident of Davis County. He grew up in Salt Lake City, but spent his summers on his grandfather's farm in Kaysville. . After returning from a mission to Canada, he spent two years in the Army during the Korean Conflict Lamont attended the University of Utah and graduated with a degree in pharmacy. He serves as an adjunct professor with the University of Utah College of Pharmacy in the preceptor program, which trains pharmacy interns. He married Barbara Bar-bara Horsley in Salt Lake City, and they are the parents of four children. chil-dren. ; ' Lamont lived in Bountiful for 16 years before moving to his Grandfather Grand-father Openshaw's old homestead in Kaysville, where he and his family fa-mily have lived for the past 13 years. This fulfilled a long-time dream of living id the home in Kaysville. : ironically, the first store Lamont owned in Bountiful was Dick's Pharmacy located on 4th East and 5th South.
