KAYSVILLE Alexia Nelson Stewart, 76, of 408 W. 200 N., died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1988, at her home of heart failure. She was born June 7, 1912 in Bountiful, a daughter of John Kyl-ler Kyl-ler and Mary Alice Pace Nelson. She married Seth Layton Stewart Ste-wart Oct. 15, 1947, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared in Bountiful and had lived in Kaysville the past 41 years. She graduated from the University Univer-sity of Utah with a B.A. degree in education. She had taught school in Davis County for 25 years. She was a member of the Kaysville Kays-ville First LDS Ward and had served as Relief Society president, Primary president, YWMIA president presi-dent and served on the Stake Sunday Sun-day School board. She had been an ordinance worker in the Ogden LDS Temple for 10 years. She was a member of the Athena Club, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and a 4-H Club leader. Surviving are her husband of Kaysville, two daughters, Kathleen Kath-leen Stewart Goodwin, Edmonds, Wash.; Susan Stewart, Bountiful; and four grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, LaVance Pace Nelson, Nel-son, Fern Nelson Anderson, both of Bountiful. Bishop Dennis Hill conducted funeral services Nov. 11. Family prayer was offered by LaVance P. Nelson; prelude, Reva Killian; organ solo, medley of hymns by Sherman F. Anderson; invocation, Glen Taylor; remarks, Bishpp Dennis Hill; speakers, Adelia Rushforth and Cleo Webb |
