Show U , , ' hi" - IVA SMITH WOOD Iva S. Wood dies at age 92 FARMINGTON Iva Smith Wood passed away Oct. 6, 1988 at the age of 92. She was born Aug. 30, 1896 in ! Fielding, Utah, a daughter of Charles L. and Annie Harris Smith. She married Clifton Bird ! Wood, June 14, 1922 in the Salt i Lake LDS Temple and they have lived together for 66 years. She graduated from Fielding j High School and attended the Utah ! State University and Henegar's I Business College. Life-long devoted member of j The Church of Jesus Christ of Lat-i Lat-i ter-day Saints and a member of the j Farmington First Ward. Served in ! the stake Primary presidency, as a ward Primary president, teacher in the Sunday School, Primary and Relief Society, a teacher and secretary sec-retary of the Helen Mar Miller ! DUP Camp. She also assisted her I husband as Farmington city re-i re-i corder. She is survived by her husband and four children; Dr. Don Clifton I (Geneal) Wood, Salt Lake City; I LaRue(Rell) Francis Taber, Alberta, Alber-ta, Canada; Carol (Don) Jardine, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Paul Smith (Carolyn) Wood, Farming-ton; Farming-ton; 17 living grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren. |
