Show Fleming Named New Development Head Philip J. Fleming, veteran college col-lege administrator and fund raiser, has been appointed by the Board of Regents as Executive Director of Development. Fleming was formerly Director of Development at Florida State University (FSU). He replaces Raymond L. Handlan, who resigned to accept a position with Cornell University. University Executive Vice President Presi-dent Neal A. Maxwell said, "We anticipate a vigorous and expanded development program with the appointment ap-pointment of Fleming. His record at Florida State, particularly in the corporate, foundation, and individ ual donor fields, has been outstanding." outstand-ing."
