Show Noted Wisconsin Topologist Delsvers Space Lecture ment said that the lectures would be of special interest to seniors and graduate students in Math. Dr. R. H. Bing, professor of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin, is on campus this week delivering lectures on his specialty, topology. DR. BING is one of the leading lead-ing topologists in the United States. He is a member of the National Academy of Science. Topology relates to problems of studying three dimensional space. THE LECTURES will be held each day this week in the Math building. Today's lecture will be a discussion of Fundamental groups. Wednesday's session will center on a discussion of recent work done on Poincare's conjecture, conjec-ture, having to do with properties proper-ties characteristic of a cube.
