At our next meeting we are going to meet with the County Agent, Grant Esplin. i News About Local 4-H CLUBS STITCH AND BAKE CLUB The Stitch and Bake Club met at the home of Colleen llulchings. We made ribbon sandwiches and punch. We also had a discussion on "First Aid" and "Charming Hostesses." Our next meeting will be at the home of Charlotte Terry. Patricia Bills, reporter. BIG LITTLE BAKERS Gail Gale's Big Little Bakers 4 II club met again Monday, June 13, at Toni Ki.er's house, We started our manual project and our cooking. We made sandwiches and milkshakes. COUNTY CUT-UPS On June 7th, the County Cul-Ups Cul-Ups 4-11 Club held a meeting in I Beaver at the home of our leader, lead-er, Mabel Smith. We organized our club, and the following officers of-ficers were electid by acclamation: acclama-tion: Jennie Sue Smith, president; Nina Hue Yardley, vice president; presi-dent; Judy Murdock, sec.-treas.; i Nancy Yardley, song and recra-' at ion director; Georgia Bth I Smith,, reporter. A health and -safely director will be selected later. We will carry out a recreational recrea-tional project this year, making scrap'jooks of skits, games, fun songs, etc. We want to have .swimming parties, dances, and other "funs" connected with recreation. Along with our recreation, we are taking sewing projects. Fach girl will select the phase she feels capable of completing. During our discussion of' what projects to take, selecting a name, etc., Mrs. Smith served refreshing punch and delicious home-made biscuits. The next meeting is to be in Milford at the home of Renee Norton. All present members are junior or senior 4 II Club leaders. KITCHEN QUEENS The Kitchen Queens 4-H Club are having fun with food. As the new first- year phase manual manu-al suggests, "Have Fun With Foods." At our first meeting we elected elect-ed officers: Judith Cook, president; presi-dent; Mary Campbell, vice president; pres-ident; Dixie Lee, secretary; Linda Sherwood, song leader; Louise Gillins, accompanist; Judy Paice, recreation chairman-. Anna Marie Jones, safety chairman; Marsha Ann Smith, r. porter. Our leader is Jennie Sue Smith. i On May 28 we met at our' leader's home. Al this meeting our mothers met with us. We made recipe holders and received re-ceived our record folders and our program for the year. At our next meeting, June 4, at Louise Gillins' home, we made sandwiches and fruit milk nog. !
