Show on f;le in the office of the City Recorder since the nature of the work does not require the same; that an inspection of said lank at its present location, and the location to which it is to be moved can be made to ascertain ascer-tain the work required; that sa:d bid shall be made on the basis that the contractor shall be responsible for the safe removal re-moval and reinstallation of said tank on the new foundation and stand, but that the City will at its expense cause the removal remov-al of necessary telephone and pow.r wires on the streets to be used in such removal; that said bid shall be accompanied with a certified check in the amount of ten percent (10) of the sa;d bid. When on his way to ; I his home at Long Beach, Calif., he spent an afternoon at the Black Rock Ranch, where he, has spent many week ends the past two years. i Walter Miller of Elko, Nev., spent the week end with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke spent Sunday in Beaver at the I home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph I Skinner. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. I Burke of Cedar City were at l the Skinner home for the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Avery, accompanied by their son and daughter, were guests of the Merrill Millers Sunday night. The Averys are en route to New York where they will spend about two weks. P. C. Madsen and son Clay of Manti came here with a truck to pick up a load of sheep that the ranch folks had corraled I for the owner. 1 Fred Schumacher and his stepdaughter, Mrs. Osborne Christopherson, of Garrison, spent one day last week at Black Rock. Mr. and Mrs. Don Helwig of Laguna Bach, Calif., left for their home after being house guests of the Merrill Miller W. A. Miller accompanied them and will be taken to his home in Inglewood, Calif. |
