Outdoor games were directed direct-ed by Mr. Long. Hot dogs, ice cream, cake and punch were served to Gregory McGinn, Craig Kirk. Connie Kirk, Adele Griffiths, George Griffiths, Steve and Ronnie Stonehocker, Jerry GribbL, Sherrie and Randy Holm, Bruce Mayer, Brent Baxter, Grant Wads-worlh, Wads-worlh, Becky Winn, Kent and Karen Gillins, two cousins, Kathy and Carolyn Whiting of Ogden, and Wan nice Klein of Oakland, Calif. SIXTEEN FRIENDS of San-' San-' dra Beard wished her Happy Birthday at a party given by J her paornts on June 15th. A scavenger hunt, cootie and other games were enjoyed by. the girls. j Sandra received some lovely gifts. Chili - burgers, potato chips, pickles, punch and cup cakes were served to Sally Williams, Helen Jean Gillins, Sue Ann Thompson, Judy Hor-u.n, Hor-u.n, Connie llolbrook, Susan McCulley, Marilyn Moore, Terry Ter-ry Fisher, Kaye Tolley, Sherrie , Gillins, Dolores Allen, Kathleen Kath-leen Me.ker, Billie Ann Carter, Car-ter, Kay Root, Anna Hutch-ings, Hutch-ings, and Marian Hollingshead. MRS. DOROTHY ACKLIN CRAW, a recent Milford bride, was honoivd by a beautifully appointed miscellaneous shower on Wednesday evening of last week. The guests were received in the spacious dining room of the Masonic Temple. Tables of bridge, pinochle and cootie provided pro-vided entertainment for the la- dies. The long, well-filled table of gifts was attractively arranged, ar-ranged, and graced by a magnificent mag-nificent basket of peonies presented pre-sented by Lamar Outzen. J Mrs. Craw was delighted ' with the abundance of beauti- ful and useful household furnishings fur-nishings presenetd her, and was very gracious in her thanks of appreciation. Ice civam and cake with hot or cold drinks were served at small tables. The favors were individual miniature bridal bouquets. Sixty-two guests enjoyed the evening's entertainment, among Hum an aunt of Mrs. Lesa Ack-lin, Ack-lin, Mrs. L. D. Excel! of Zion, a most courteous and attractive elder! matron. Tin br'dal cake way work of culinary art, the gift ol Mrs. Norman Baxter. The committee on arrangements arrange-ments included Alice Elmer, Rosalie Cook, Alice Baxter, Lillian Lil-lian Mellor, Mary Long, Olive Young, Norma Yount, Barbara McGinn, Marjorle Harton and LaRue Turner. Thanks to the artistic skill of these ladies, the affair was an outstanding social event of the June calen-: calen-: dar. |
