Show NEXT WEEK TO BE j OBSERVED HERE- AS NATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK ! Next week will be observed as I American Education Week at Milford High school, with specially spe-cially arranged programs scheduled sched-uled for each day. On Monday, Nov. 10, the school will sponsor an assembly at 2:50 p. m., vvuich will include a panel discussion on a topic to be announced. Harold Cline will be model ator, with Jesse Long, LeRoy Griffiths, Mrs. Eva Stone-hocker, Stone-hocker, K. L. Archer, and others participating. Members of the panel will meet Saturday evening eve-ning to preview the topic to be discussed. Also on the assembly program will be a student speaker and a musical number. Tuesday, the American Legion Le-gion win present tneir annual Armistice Day assembly at 11:20 a. m. I Wednesday, Reese P. Maughan I from the B A C will speak on j an educational subject in an as- J iembly to be called at 2:50 p.m. On Thursday, a Lyceum program pro-gram featuring Capt. Paul Dry will be presented at 9 a. m. Friday at 11:20 a. m. the P.-T. A. will sponsor an assembly. assem-bly. Everyone is especially invited in-vited to all these assemblies. Thursday and Friday will be Parents Days. On Thursday, only . morning j classes will be held, and the s,tu- i dents will be dismissed at noon. On Friday, the afternoon j classes will be held in the morn- ' ing and the students dismissed at noon. I On Thursday and Friday afternoons aft-ernoons parent and teacher conferences con-ferences will be held. Report cards will be given to the parents par-ents at this time. At least one parent of each school pupil is urged to attend one or both of these days. The parents are especially invited in-vited to visit the school during the mornings, attending the assemblies as-semblies and observing the clashes. |
