Show jfkst lOarb By MRS. ALMA SLY Stake M I A Leadership meeting meet-ing will be held at Milford, Feb. 21st, at 7:30 p. m. We hope it will prove a very successful and enjoyable evening. The Book of Mormon class was held at the Dick Banks home. Twelve members were in attendance. Mrs. Banks served serv-ed frozen fruit dessert. The next meeting will be held at the E. C. Edwards home. ' The chapel seats project is coming along nicely. Everyone contacted so far has been most cooperative at paying $10 per family. We hope the future contacts will be just as willing. Our seats have been in bad condition con-dition for a long time, and it has become imperative that we replace them. A large number of our members mem-bers attended Stake Quarterly Conference in Beaver Sunday. The youth were well represented. represent-ed. Our speaker at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening was Harrell Gillins of Minersville. He is a recently returned missionary mis-sionary from the Western States mission. We hope he can visit us again soon. The Valentine Dance held by the Primary proved to be a very orderly and successful dance. "Jump Jim Crow ' and a "Clap Waltz" were enjoyed before the concessions were opened. Everyone Every-one had a good time. j I Sunday afternoon, Feb. 24th, ' will be correlation meeting for all officers. It will begin at 2 o'clock. The Melchizedek Priesthood members attending Stake Priesthood Priest-hood meeting Saturday evening in Beaver were Bishop Richard Jones, Carlyle Gronning, LaMar Grimshaw and E. Cecil Edwards. Also, the Relief Society President, Presi-dent, Mrs. Naomi Hughes, and First Counselor Mrs. Lillian Atkin. The Elders Quorum is planning plan-ning a dance on March 3rd. We hope to have a good representation. representa-tion. v Teachers of the Aaronic Priesthood will give the program J Sunday evening, Feb. 24th. |
