Ray Lund, Milford High graduate of 1947, is here for a visit with friends and to take in the 49-ers. After about two years on Guam, Ray is enjoying his 30-day leave. He will leave for Salt Lake the last of the wee k to spend some time with his parents before reporting to Lowry Air Force Base at Denver, Den-ver, June 15th. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bushman of El Monte, Calif., spent last week-end with relatives and friends in Milford and Miners-ville, Miners-ville, returning to their home Sunday. Howard Bingham accompanied accompa-nied Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bushman Bush-man to their home in El Monte, Calif., last Sunday, to spend a week visiting his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Tine Bingham, of Sun Valley, Calif., a brother-in-law and sister in law in Lynwood, and other relatives rela-tives in North Hollywood and Long Beach. Fay Limb, currently stationed at North Island after returning from a cruise to Pearl Harbor, is in Milford on six-day leave. He will report back to his ship, the USS Curtis, next week. Uffens last weekend, week-end, accompanied the local res-' idents on a trip to Las Vegas. The two couples enjoyed visits to the Las Vegas "hot spots," j particularly enjoying performances perform-ances by Harpo Marx and Ben Blue. Mr. and Mrs. J. Kenneth differential allowed the grease to escape, and the differential crystallized. The rear wheels suddenly dropped off and start ed rolling down the road in a race with the truck. The vehicle ve-hicle struck a culvert and overturned, over-turned, wrecking the cab, the undercarriage and the body. Ray suffered a few minor bruises and a lightly skinned nose. |
