Show On May 15th we again met at Mrs. Walters' home, with seven members and a visitor, present. Dorothy Brimberry led us in singing. We discussed health, and said the pledge. Mrs. Walters reveiwed vegetable vege-table preparation and gave a demonstration on meat loaf. We broiled, boiled, fried and roasted roast-ed meat. Carol Jean Garfield of the Healthy Clover Club was a visitor. vis-itor. Betty Ferguson, reporter. "KITCHEN WHIPPETS REPORT TWO SESSIONS The Kitchen Whippets met at Mrs. Walters' on Monday, May 8. Frances Walters called "to meeting to order at 4:40. Marie Baxter led us in a song, "Utah Trail." The girls voted on buying 4-H caps with the award money we won at the State Fair last year. We also voted on buying the official 4-H T-shirts, and a gavel. Mrs. Walters explained how i' to prepare different kinds of vegetables. |
