' OFFICIALS NAMED FOR JUNIOR STOCK SHOW j The "Grand Old Man" of Jun- ior Livestock Judging, Prof. E. F. Rinehart of Boise, Idaho, has : been named cattle judgeof the Intermountain Junior Fat Stock I Show for the 11th successive year, Merrill Parkin, show manager, man-ager, announced this week. The show, climax of the junior show I season, will be held at the Salt j Lake Union Stock Yards, North I Salt Lake, on June 7, 8 and 9. Judge Rinehart is especially ' loved by the youngsters for he ! goes fMrthar than rendering I just a cold decision on the i merits of the various animals, i and takes time out to point out the merits .and defects of prime I animals to their youthful exhib-: exhib-: itors, amd to tell them how such I defects -could be eliminated. Judging lambs will be Prof. Milton A. Madsen, Utah State j Agricultural College, and judg-' judg-' ing hogs will "be Prof. Harry H. ; Smith of the Colorado State Agricultural College. Auction eers, who have brought several millions of dollars dol-lars to youthful growers over the years of the Intermountain Junior show, will return again this year. They are Col. Chas. E. Adams of Los Angeles, and W. H. Adams, Sr. and Jr., of Salt Lake City. In charge of show barn arrangements will be Rulon Buck, for 4-H, and Glen Soulier for FF. Chaper-one Chaper-one of 4-H Club girls will be Miss Fern Shipley. Show town government will be presided over by Doyle Landon for FFA |
