Show MINERS VILLE GIRL TO ' SERVE LDS MISSION IN HAWAIIAN ISLANDS ! Miss Genevieve Robinson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford J. Robinson of Minersville, will leave for the Hawaiian mission of the LDS church on January 28. Miss Robinson, born at Min- I ersville, attended the Minersville schools and was graduated from the Milford High school in 1945. Since her graduation she has been employed by the Bamberger Railway Company in Salt Lake City. She will be honored at a reception recep-tion and farewell party in Minersville Min-ersville on Saturday, January 8, and will enter the mission home at Salt Lake on January 10. She will leave for San Francisco on January 19th, and on the 28th will sail for Hawaii. The first single girl to accept a Mission call to Hawaii in many years, Miss Robinson has been very active in LDS church work. Luring her school years I she was a member of the Minersville Min-ersville ward M I A, and since moving to Salt Lake has been a teacher in the Sunday School and in the Y L.M I A organization. |
