Show NEWS NOTES FROM SOUTH MILFORD The South Milford club house glittered with Christmas decorations decora-tions and Christmas trees on Dec. 23rd when Santa came and greeted fifty-five children and adults. Games were enjoyed by the group with Georgia Smith, Freddie Fred-die Wright and Johnnie Alger receiving the prizes. Santa appeared ap-peared at 9:30 and gave out presents. Candy, nuts, cookies and pop corn balls were also served. Christmas carols were sung by all. Mrs. Joan McKnight arranged the party. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins and family spent Christmas day with Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Myers in ! Minersville. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright had as their Christmas dinner guests, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hootin and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Lor-raine Gillins. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Myers met at their home in Minersville on December 26 , to be with their parents on their j 61st anniversary. The following were present: I Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins of South Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Tom LeFevre, Mr. and Mrs. Gol-die Gol-die Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Dai-sel Dai-sel Davis and two sons and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Vick Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Obra Myers. Two children were unable to attend, Mrs. Claude Myers of Tracy, Colo, and Mrs. Maude Messenger of Compton, Calif. Grandchildren also dropped in during the afternoon including Lou Carter of Tracy, Colo, and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Carter of i Salt Lake City, and other grandchildren grand-children of Minersville. The afternoon was spent visiting visit-ing after which light refreshments refresh-ments were served. ! Mr. and Mrs. Karl Murdock and children spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight. Keith Gillins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins, has been seriously ill this past week. |
