Mr. Lowe stated that other provisions require eligible growers grow-ers to sell ungraded or field run potatoes, U S No. 1, size B; U S No 2; and lower grade potatoes only to eligible dealers or the Department of Agriculture. He advises all potato growers interested inter-ested in becoming eligible for potato price support to call at the County ACA Office. SPUD GROWERS WARNED TO FILE NOW FOR BENEFITS Potato growers are reminded by Frank D. Low, chairman of the Beaver County Agricultural Conservation Committee, of the requirements to become eligible for price support protection. These requirements to become eligible include compliance with individual 1948 farm potato acreage acre-age goals and applying to the County ACA Committee for a Certificate of Eligibility, agreeing agree-ing to comply with the conditions condi-tions set forth on the application and paying the required fee. The fee for growers who apply by July 15, 1948, will be 100 cwt times lc, times the acres of their potato goal. The fee after July 15, 1948, will be doubled, |
