Show GOLD STAR BUTTONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE Application forms for the Gold Star Lapel Button, designed for wear by next of kin of those members of the armed forces who lost their lives in active military mil-itary service during World War II, are now available at all army installations, or they may be obtained at any U S Army and Air Force Recruiting Station, Sgt, Staker of the Cedar City Recruiting office, announces. The button consists of a gold star on a purple background, bordered in gold and surrounded by gold laurel leaves, with space for the recipient's initials on the back. One button will be furnished, fur-nished, without cost, to the widow or widower, and to each of the parents of a member of the armed forces who lost his life while in active military service serv-ice between Dec. 7, 1941, and July 25, 1947, inclusive. |
