Show Care of Faucets Don't let faucets drip. Have all leaking faucets rewashered promptly prompt-ly to prevent waste of water and fuel, damage to faucet seat, and discoloration of fixtures. Use high-grade high-grade faucet washers whenever replacing re-placing as they will last longer and save wear on the faucet seat. Clean chromium-plated faucets and fittings fit-tings with soap and water and dry with soft toweL Should rust spots appear on chromium, scour with non-abrasive cleanser, same as for fixtures, and apply a film of wax over the rust spots. Don't pour hot grease and especially greasy tvater down the waste. It congeals and clogs the lines; don't pour coffee cof-fee grounds down the sink drain. Sink pipes can be kept clean for long periods if scalding hot water Is poured down them once a day. |
