Show Women's Clubs MRS. PATRICIA WILLIAMS, Society Editor Phono 160 LA DAWNE ENTERTAINS SEWING CLUB A mast enjoyable time was had at the home of Miss LaDawne Muncey when the "Make It and Hope" sewing club met last Monday evening. A sleigh ride occupied the early part of the evening, with LaRac 'Evans, Mrs. Ruth Kinross, Bonnie Crane, Meltha Lyman, Utahna Hardy, LaRee Thompson, Ada Jane Mahoney, Corrinne Mark, Leah Smith, Mary Reese, Lola Mae Waddoups, Barbara Johnson, Joyce Scott and LaDawne Muncey enjoying en-joying the -fun. After the group returned from the sleigh ride, they sewed and , chatted. A luncheon was served at 10 o'clock by the hostess. i BKANNONS ENTERTAIN ON NEW YEAR'S Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brannon entertained en-tertained at a New Year's party in honor of Private Eugene Johnson and Maida Clark, on Wednesday evening. Monte Carlo whist was played, after which a delicious lunch was served to Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hickman, Mr. and Mrs. James Hickman, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schaidt, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Arnold, Ar-nold, Donna Wadsworth, Eugene Johnson, Maida Clark, and Mr. and Mrs. Brannon. PAST NOBLE GRANDS MEET WEDNESDAY The Ella StancUff Past Noble Grand Club met at the home of Bertha Cottrcll Wednesday evening eve-ning and a very delightful evening was enjoyed by those present. The hostess served a lovely luncheon, after which a business meeting was held. ! Those present included Mrs. Vena Wilson, Mrs. Susan Glenn, Mrs. Asenath Pool, Mrs. Selma Carlson, Mrs. Delila Coleman, Mrs. Cree Elmer, Mrs. Freda Outzen, Mrs. Sarah Griffiths, Mrs. Dora Johnson and the hostess, Mrs. Bertha Cottrell. New officers elected for the ensuing en-suing term are Bertha Cottrell, president; Asenath Pool, vice president; pres-ident; Dora Johnson, secretary, and Cree Elmer, secretary."" MRS. BIRD IS . . ' BRIDGE CLT'B HOSTESS Mrs. Gladys Bird was hostess on Wednesday evening to her bridge group, which included Mrs. Veil Palmer, Mrs. Laura Bradfield, Mrs. 1 Ethel Mclntyre, Mrs. Eva Banks. Mrs. Garnet Garfield, Mrs. Ann Lee and Mrs. Phillis Erickson. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Palmer, high; Mrs. Lee, second high, and Mrs. Mclntyre, consolation. consola-tion. A delicious luncheon was served by the hostess. STEW ART -CARSON Miss Carlel (Kely) Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Stewart, became the bride of Mr. Harold W. Carson in Salt Lake City on Monday, December 30. The couple will make their home in Milford. MOTHERS CLUB The Mothers' Club held their regular reg-ular meeting at the home of Mrs. Tola Carter Thursday afternoon. A most enjoyable afternoon was had by Mrs. Helen Edwards, Mrs. Norma Walters, Mrs. Mary Mor-ford Mor-ford and son Pat, Mrs. Eva Stone-hooker Stone-hooker and son Robin.
