Show Fish and game office lists April arrests A total of 86 Fish and Game violations were processed through Utah's courts during the month of April, according to the Division of Fish and Game's monthly arrest report. Net fines for these cases totaled to-taled $2,017.50. This month's arrest report shows a significant signifi-cant increase over the same month's report a year ago. Last year in April 46 cases went through the courts with net fines of $800. Fishing violations accounted for a large part of this month's arrests with many of these being be-ing fishing license violations. Daggett County noted the largest number of infractions of any county due to the high number of anglers going to Flaming Gorge Reservoir. A total of 41 arrests were made here in April, 15 of these for fishing without a license and 8 others for fishing with more than one line or pole. Tere were also 5 arrests for overlim-its overlim-its of fish. Utah's general fishing season sea-son opens June 1, and it is a good idea to check the regulations regula-tions before you go out this season.
