Show Couple make home here after church wedding and reception A lovely wedding of the early ear-ly spring season was that of Miss Sharon Eileen Memory, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Memory of this city, and Douglas Dale Bringhurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale B. Bringhurst also of Springville The ceremony was performed March 8, in the Third-Ninth Ward Church with Bishop T. Melvin Haymond officiating. The newlyweds were honored with a reception immediately after and spent a honeymoon in Las Vegas. For her all-important wedding wed-ding date, the bride chose a k . ' I i i J i ... .... ..... , .1 gown of delustered satin, full-length full-length entrain, with lace top, designed with empire waist and elbow-length sleeves. Her full-flowing full-flowing veil of illusion fell from a double tierra of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet bou-quet consisting of two pink-centered pink-centered white Catteya orchids surrounded with small iceberg crysanthemums. Attending her as maid of honor, was her sister, Ann Memory, while Joan Bringhurst, Bring-hurst, Barbara White and Susan Su-san Olsen, were bridesmaids. They wore formals of pink dotted dot-ted Swiss over tafetta and carried white iceberg poms with cranberry ribbon centers. Larry Bringhurst, brother of the groom, served as best man Mrs. Memory chose an apple green linen formal for her daughter's wedding and Mrs. Bringhurst a gold crepe. Their flowers were symbidium orchids. or-chids. Mr. and Mrs. Mart Bringhurst Bring-hurst and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth R. Brown greeted guests at the door. At the guest reg-ter reg-ter were Mary Jean Larsen and Susan DeRose. Mrs. Burton Larsen assisted in the gift room and Patti Larsen, Lar-sen, Kathy Bringhurst and Chris Bringhurst served. RECITES VOWS Mrs. Douglas Dale Bringliurst, the former for-mer Miss Sharon Eileen Memory, married Friday, March 8. A lovely 3-tiered wedding cake with pillars and pink rosebuds rose-buds topped with cranberry ribbon, rib-bon, added to the attractive color theme. The couple is making their home in Springville. |
