Show Civil engineer wins citation David D. Prothero, 26 North 400 East, Springville, working for the Corps of Engineers, Dept. of Army, Salt Lake City, has been officially commended for "sustained supervisory performance per-formance as a civil engineer," the past year and has been presented pre-sented with the Outstanding Performance Award. Accompanying the award was a citation which read in part: "His excellent academic background, technical experience, experi-ence, enthusiasm, exactness, and ability to conduct work over a wide range of activities, have resulted in exemplary performance. per-formance. With an absolute minimum of supervision, he has developed progressive survey procedures and techniques." The citation went on to commend com-mend Mr. Prothero in all phases phas-es of his engineering work. He received his degree in civil engineering from BYU in 1951. His wife is the former Collette Miner of this city. His parents are Beth Prothero Proth-ero of Springville and the late Dean J. Prothero. |
