Show KSL broadcasts program live from Springville Springville City, with cooperation coop-eration of the mayor, F. Calvin Cal-vin Packard, and members of the city council with KSL, Tuesday evening, received some fine publicity, courtesy of KSL Radio. Townspeople were invited in-vited to hear the program broadcast live from the civic center, while others listened over ov-er KSL Radio. Citizens were invited to call questions into the broadcast station during the program, which continued from 9 to 10 p.m. directed by Wes Bowen. A number also called in from Salt Lake City. During the evening, the mayor may-or and councilmen and others responded to questions concerning concern-ing development of the city golf site, plans for enlarging the disposal plant, problems involved in-volved in the chlorination of the city water system, a review of plans for the city's big Art City Days Celebration, dance problems and others. All questions ques-tions were explained in the brief time alloted and everyone who heard the program was pleased with the fine response and comments made by interested inter-ested citizens participating. |
