Show For adults Civil Defense classes to begin Jan. 17 The Springville Civil Defense is reminding all who are interested in-terested and signed up for the Medical Self Help Class that annual classes will begin next Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 7:30 p.m. . The classes this year, under the direction of Doctor James M. Nance, will be held in the civic center. The course will run consecutively each Wednesday Wednes-day for ten weeks. Anyone interested is invited to participate in the course and both husband and wives are encouraged to attend. Each family in Springville should be represented at some time so they will be prepared in the event of a distaster. Certifi-(Cont. The following is the schedule for the classes: Introduction, Jan. 17; Radioactive Fallout, Jan. 24; Healthful Living, Jan. 31; Artificial Respiration, Feb. 7; Bleeding, Bandaging, Feb. 14; Fractures, Splinting, Feb. 21; Burns & Shock, Feb. 28; Nursing & Infants, March 6; Emergency Childbirth, March 13; Conclusion, March 20.
