Show 1 1 : i r:. t . j Newlyweds to make home in Austin, Texas A lovely wedding reception of the late summer season was that on Wednesday evening, August 16, in the Springville Stake House, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Roger Delgado, who were married the same day in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A wedding wed-ding breakfast followed the ceremony in Salt Lake. The lovely young bride is the former Miss Carol Ann Kreth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Manwaring of this city and the groom is a son of Mrs. Guadalupe Delgado of Austin, Texas. For her wedding gown, the bride was attired in a beautiful Peau de Soie, designed and made by her mother with Princess Prin-cess lines and fitted empire bodice. It was trimmed with lace appliques reembroidered with pearls and featured a chapel cha-pel train. The lace-edged veil was held by a flower headpiece with pearl and crystal trim. The bridal bouquet was a white orchid surrounded with pink carnations. Attending as matron of honor hon-or was Kathy L. Slack, while Mary B. Bird, Dianne Barney and Lorelei Olsen were brides- MRS. ROGER DELGADO, the former Miss Carol Ann Kreth, who was wed Wednesday in Salt Lake Temple ceremony. maids and Lizy Delgado, sister sis-ter of the groom, and Susan Lowe, were junior bridesmaids. They wore moss green and American Beayty gowns of peau de Soie and their flowers were spider mums and fern. Mrs. Manwaring wore green lace for the reception. Best man to the groom was Julian Delgado, Jr., brother of the groom and the ushers were Michael Olsen, David Olsen and Allan Livingston. Mrs. Zina Condie, grandmother, grandmo-ther, was a special guest. At the guest register were Joan Christensen and Carolyn Hatch. Greeting at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Livingston. Living-ston. Serving were Sharee Sum-sion, Sum-sion, Stephanie Bird, Karen Stewart, Jan Nielson, Kathy1 Huff and Barbar Nielson, while Merlene Schreiner and Connie Wilson were in charge of the gifts. The bride and groom left after af-ter the reception on a wedding trip to Mexico and will make their future home in Austin, Texas. Among pre-nuptial parties, was one given by Mrs. Mary B. Bird in the form of a bridal shower for friends of the bride. |
