Show Chamber project proves effective The impact of twenty-one colorful billboards located on incoming highways in the east, west, and south parts of the state telling of Springville's tourist attractions is being felt as many travelers are stopping and getting acquainted with the cilv Many golfing tourists have been attracted to the new Hobble Hob-ble Creek Course and numerous others are stopping to see the art gallery, fish hatcheries and canyon picnic areas, it is reported re-ported by the Chamber of Commerce. Businessmen are also al-so noting out-of-state motorists in their places of business because be-cause of tire signs. These signs tell of the various var-ious recreational and cultural attractions in town and nearby canyons Financed by a special billboard bill-board fund of the Chamber of Commerce and augmented by motel, restaurant, and service station operators, tjie billboards are another step in the Chamber's Cham-ber's concerted effort to tell Springville's story to out of state and intra-state travelers. The billboards have been placed at prime locations by Godwin Advertising Agency, Salt Lake City, and are seen at Payson, Fillmore, Delta, Kanab, Panguitch, Richfield, Salina, Ephraim, Mt. Pleasant, Beaver, St. George, Nephi, Circleville, Monticello, Price, Spanish Fork, Heber, Gunnison, Manti, Cedar City. |
