Show $3revitieA . . . Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Christiansen Chris-tiansen have returned from an enjoyable three weeks Mormon Battalion bus tour to Expo '67 in Montreal, Canada. Among the many other places visited were Boston, Niagara Falls, New York; Washington, D. C. and Palmyra, N. Y., where they saw the church pageant; also the birthplace of Joseph Smith in Vermont and other places of church historical interest in-terest in and near Palmyra. They returned home by way of Denver. Before going on the tour, they spent two weeks with a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Gledhill at Greeley, Colo., where Mr. Gledhill Gled-hill has been attending school at the University of Colorado to attain his masters degree this summer. They will be home this week. Mrs. J. A. Leslie has had as her house guest this summer, her granddaughter, Debra Leslie, Les-lie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Leslie of Las Vegas, Nevada. Ne-vada. She also enjoyed a four-day four-day visit from her grandson, Mark Leslie also of Las Vegas, who came to accompany his sister home. The family enjoyed many fun times and outings together. to-gether. Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Rowland Row-land enjoyed a visit from their son, Ted Rowland and wife of Garden Grove, Calif., the past week. They also visited other relatives and friends here and also went to Colorado to see Mrs. Rowland's sister. |
