Show 'Days of Yesterday' recalled by friends at annual reunion taquin, Mapleton and Spring-ville; Spring-ville; also Miss Elsie Willmott of Norwich, England, was a special guest. i Forty-two friends of many years, were together Friday evening at an annual summer reunion and "Do You Remember," Remem-ber," dinner party at Social Center in Spanish Fork. Mrs. Blanch Beal was general chairman chair-man assisted by Gertrude Sum-sion, Sum-sion, Cleo Heavener and Catherine Cath-erine Wills, the latter on table decorations. Theme of the party was "Yesterday Through the Mirror," Mir-ror," and was cleverly portray- 1 ed in every detail. A handsome mirror with floral decor around i the frame and the theme scrol led across the front hung on the wall as the guests entered. Tiny mirrors with vari-colored bows were at each place on the long ! tables. i Mrs. Beal welcomed the group and asked them to look j in the mirror, place the bow in J their hair and try to relive for j the evening, the days of yes terday. A program followed with individuals in-dividuals exhibiting wearing apparel and other items and recalling in verse the many interesting in-teresting scenes and incidences of yesterday. Rea Straw, Alice Davis, Lois Clegg, Myrtle Price, Vanda Jensen, Martha Whiting, Mae Child, Alzada Wilmott and Manila Brown i took part. Alzada read the j "Sagebrush and Squawberry ' Bush," composed by Lucy Phil- j lips and Mae Child gave the i "Old Candy Store," and distrib- j uted "candy of yesterday." A highlight of the evening was the autobiography given by Belle C. Thomas, of her life in the music world, which proved especially interesting. Mrs. Thomas also accompanied the music numbers. A quartet composed of Phil-da Phil-da Finley, Floss Phillips, Mary Weight and Ellen Anderson gave old-time favorites and Mrs. Anderson led the group in community singing, j During the evening, Alice j Deal, Jessie Arrowsmith and Marie Lewis all of Provo, were named chairmen of the party for next year. !
