Show Industrial cage loop seeks players for race Plans are well under way to open the Central Utah Industrial Indus-trial Basketball League for the third consecutive year, according ac-cording to Chester Oliver, league president. Teams expected to enter by the November 16 deadline are American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Provo, Springville, Spanish Fork, Payson. Sponsors Spon-sors will be announced when all entries are final. Oliver stated that the league is expected to be better balanced bal-anced than ever before. He further fur-ther stated that it is the goal of the league to expand to northern and southern division within the next few years. Most of the team managers expressed a need for more players, especially players with height. Anyone desiring a try-out try-out with any of the teams should contact Chester Oliver or Ken Mitchell, league secretary, secre-tary, in Provo. League play is scheduled to open on November 23 at the Spanish Fork High School gym. Games are played on Tuesday nights beginning at 7 p.m. There will be three games each night and the public pub-lic is invited to attend. |
