Show Grouse hunt closes Friday The season for hunting forest for-est grouse will close on Friday evening, October 22, the Department De-partment of Fish and Game reminded re-minded sportsmen today. The statewide season for ruffed ruf-fed and blue grouse will close the day before the opening of the 1965 deer season. Upland game bird hunters still have until December 31 to hunt for and take chukar and Hungarian partridge.
