Show Jaycee Wives have busy schedule Springville Jaycee Wives have had a busy schedule the past few days. A pot luck supper for their husbands and children was on the entertainment agenda ag-enda held at Memorial Park fireplace. Games and races were featured later in the evening. eve-ning. On Tuesday, the JC Wives! prepared and served the food for the Pony League Banquet at Memorial Hall where 126 young boys together with the coaches and chaperons gathered. There were also a number of special guests at the function including includ-ing Frank Memory, Springville City councilman and county commissioners, David Greenwood Green-wood and Melvin Hanks and their wives. Geraldine Cook, president of the JC Wives Club was general chairman of arrangements. ar-rangements. Under direction of the president, presi-dent, the club ladies have also assisted as hostesses at the art gallery, taking turns with those of other clubs and ladies organizations or-ganizations of the city, to keep the gallery open from 2 until 8 p.m. weekdays and Sunday. |
