Show Pageant tour features trip Mrs. Lewis Thorpe returned Saturday from a conducted tour of the east. She was in a group with her sister, Mrs. Mae Larsen of Spanish Fork and they were gone three weeks. They took the northern route stopping at Spearfish, South Dakota in the Black Hills, to see the Passion Play. From there, they went to Chicago and to Niagara Falls and the Hill Cumorah pageant at Pal-myr, Pal-myr, N.Y. In New York City, they enjoyed the World's Fair and many other tourist attractions. attrac-tions. From New York, they traveled travel-ed to Washington D.C. for more sightseeing tours to Mt. Vernon, Arlington cemetery, the White House and numerous other sights. They returned home by the southern route through the Shenansoah Valley in Virginia and enjoyed the beautifu scenery scen-ery enroute. They also stopped at church points of interest en-route en-route and were gone approximately approxi-mately three weeks. |
