Needfecrafi Newsc- WHAT CAN YOU CROCHET THESE DAYS that is both whimsical and practical? Roses, of course! And where do these roses go when they're in bloom? On top of your crocheted tissue topper! This new fad is sweeping the country and because it's so easy to make and takes so little time, every bathroom in your home just has to have one. FOR NOOKS AND CRANNIES I don't know who originated origi-nated this fascinating idea, but whoever he was, our hats are off to him. This topper, which is filled with an extra roll of bathroom tissue, can be placed in any convenient nook or cranny in your house you'll be surprised at how many resting places you'll find. We've chosen yellow, tangerine, tan-gerine, scarlet, and nile green for ours, but one of the beauties of this topper is that you can carry out the color scheme of your towels, curtains or rug so easily there are so many 1 " ft v wonderful shades of yarn to choose from. Worked in a simple shell stitch, this would be a perfect project for someone who's just learning to crochet-your own teenager perhaps. AS A "TRIFLE" When you need a last minute "trifle" far a present, it certainly would be very convenient to have an extra topper handy and can't you just picture a colorful assortment of these in your booth at the church bazaar?
