Show (J3revitieA Mis. Dan Bartholomew and children of San Bernardino, Calif., are visiting here with Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Lowe and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mitchell and other relatives and friends, while Mr. Bartholomew is attending at-tending IBM school in Los Angeles. An-geles. He will be there until May 1. Mrs. Shirl Barnett plans to go to see her sister and brother-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Ferron Losee, who were hurt in an airplane accident last week. Dr. Losee, who is president of Dixie College, and his wife had visited the Barnetts here on Thursday, on a business trip to interview prospective teachers teach-ers for the college. They were flying home, when they ran out of gas and Dr. Losee made an unscheduled landing. He suffered suf-fered torn ligaments and possible pos-sible concussion, while Mrs. Losee suffered fractured ribs and shock. Both were taken to the St. George Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cherring-ton Cherring-ton and son Joseph, came from Preston, Idaho, to spend a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Cherrington, during the Easter holidays. While they were here, they and another son, David, and his wife, Provo, were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Cherrington. Cherring-ton. Mrs. Hilda Daniels of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Mrs. Fannie Johnson of Helper, have returned to their homes following follow-ing a two week's visit with their sister, Mrs. Emma Long in Springville. and Barbara, from Simi Valley, California. |
