Show Fashion Festival delightful affair Based on an imaginary round the world tour, the Spring Fashion Festival sponsored by the Pari Passu Club, Thursday, was cleverly developed by model, mod-el, music and script. Every age from three-year-olds in handmade hand-made finery to adults wearing formal and bridal attire, created cre-ated by federated club women for themselves or their families, fam-ilies, was featured. Program numbers by Mrs. Ann Woller, Miss Linda Jep-pson Jep-pson and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Miller further carried out the travel theme. The stage was effectively decorated with blossoming fruit boughs and flowers and a white lattice arch. An educational feature of the festival was an interesting display dis-play arranged in the foyer of the Grant School, of handicrafts, handi-crafts, costumes, and artifacts from various foreign countries the club has been studying the past year. Chairmen of the art benefit were Mrs. Ray G. Lofgran and Mrs. Roy Johnson; Mrs. D. La-Rell La-Rell Johnson acted as commentator. commen-tator. Awarding of several door prizes donated by Springville merchants concluded the social event. |
