Show Added funds of $35,000 go to Utah Game Dept. Additional funds amounting to approximately $35,000 were allocated to the Utah State Department of Fish and Game last week by the United States Bureau of Sports Fisheries and Wildlife for additional conservation conser-vation projects. Newest projects to be approved ap-proved are for reconstruction work at the Department's hatchery facility near Pan-guitch Pan-guitch and for participation in the construction of Blanding Reservoir. Total .cost of the two projects pro-jects was listed by the Department De-partment as $36,000 for the Pangiiitch hatchery job and $40,000 for participation in the $40,000 for participation in the Blanding Reservoir. Funds for the two projects are provided by the Accelerated Acceler-ated Public Works Program, designed to increase employment employ-ment opportunities and furthei conservation programs. T h e Federal Government will paj one-half of the cost of the twe projects aimed at improving wildlife conditions. Other approved Accelerated Public Works Programs in Utah include enlargement of the LeBaron Reservoir on the Fishlake National Forest to form a 24 acre trout lake, big game range improvement work in Emery, Duchesne, Wasatch and Sanpete Counties, and construction con-struction of a boat house and equipment storage facility at the Provo Boat Harbor. Federal funds previously allocated al-located for these projects under un-der the APW program come to $66,813.00, an amount equal to one-half the total cost of the programs. The balance of the cost will be borne by the Department De-partment of Fish and Game. More than 77 of the men and 46.5 of the women in the U. S. now have auto driving licenses . . .
