Show Utah County building down slightly Year-end statistics are expected ex-pected to indicate that total permit construction in Utah continued to rise in 1963. Construction was up 1.5 per cent over 1962 through the end of November, according to figures fig-ures released this week by the University of Utah's Bureau of search. In Utah County, the value of total permit authorized construction con-struction at the end of the 11 month period reached $14.9 million. This was a 21 de- crease from 1962 construction. The Bureau figures also show that 559 new dealing units un-its were started in Utah County Coun-ty in 1963 with a total value of $5.8 million, a 14 increase from 1962. Residential building throughout the State was up 1.5 per cent. Non-residential construction begun in Utah County totalled $7.0 million, a 42 decrease from 1962 non-residential construction con-struction activity. This category, cate-gory, on a statewide basis, showed a 3.1 per cent increase over 1962. |
